The museum is located in Piadena, (Cremona district), Garibaldi square, inside the Town Hall. From East and West, it can be reached driving along the main road Padana Inferiore No.10 connecting Cremona to Mantova. From North and South, the main connection is Strada Statale Asolana No.343.

The nearest tollgates are in Cremona (A21 Brescia-Piacenza), Parma (A1 Milan-Bologna), Mantova (A22 Modena-Brennero) and in Desenzano del Garda (A4 Milan-Venice).

The railway connections are guaranteed by Cremona-Mantova & Parma-Brescia lines, crossing at Piadena station. From Milan Central Station, it is possible to reach Piadena by direct connections; the trip lasts about one hour and twenty-five minutes.
